I worked with the author in two phases, communicating back and forth, to create physical and digital products which promoted her books and author brand.
The first project was a promotional package for an author's fair. This included a standing banner, bookmark, and promotional flyer. The standing banner adopted her existing branding colours and style, with evergreen information, as she wanted this banner to be long-lasting for years to come. The bookmark and promotional flyer were designed to complement the style of her book cover, including the purples, typography, and rough textures.
The second project entailed conceptualizing and designing multiple instagram posts to promote an upcoming sequel book release. This promotional material adopted the colours, style, and mood of this sequel book, differentiating this new phase from past material on her Instagram feed. These designs were provided to the client through Canva, where she could further personalize and update them.
